Re: Ideas for next evolution of pyboard

How about something like this? https://www.raspberrypi.org/blog/raspberry-pi-compute-module-new-product/ I would like to see a Pyboard for "finished projects". Most boards are designed for education and experiments but when you have a complete product to sell to others, you can't ship that with a py...

Re: Ideas for next evolution of pyboard

I would like a board as small and cheap as possible. Maby just 8 I/O's, capable of PWM, UART and atleast two of them is ADC. No onboard sd-card reader, a built in memory instead. No header pins or even holes for header pins, wires can be soldered to the board or it can fit in some socket. No onboard...

Re: Real-Time Clock (RTC) drift

Did anyone find a solution to the rtc drift? Mine runs about ten seconds ahead after 24 hours... Thinking of changing the crystal to a +-10ppm, or find out more exact how much the drift is and then make it reset the seconds to zero when that number of seconds after midnight have past... What do you ...

Re: Micropython on Raspberry Pi2?

It was just a thought if it is possible to use the raspberry pi as a microcontroller, or for raspberry pi 2, to use one processor as a microcontroller and the rest as a pc. It seems like alot of people use raspberry pi to communicate with microcontrollers, so why not integrate a microcontroller dire...

Re: Self balancing robot

Ah! Thanks! I just assumed that it would pick up the tilt faster if it sits on the top... I got plenty of room just above the motors. But my main problem seems to be that the A4988 drivers pick up alot of noice. Just by placing my hand near the Step, Dir and En wires it starts to jerk alot more. I t...

Re: Self balancing robot

Hehe...This is my "self balancing robot", it can't balance and its not much of a robot... :? I have alot of noice, and I can't figure out how to get the motors to run smoothly. Even with the mpu turned off the motors vibrates alot. This is the same motor drivers and motors I use for my 3D-printer, a...

Micropython on Raspberry Pi2?

Ok. Sorry if this is totally stupid. I recieved my RPi2 and it has a quad-core processor, and as I understand it's like four processors in one chip. I read about that it's possible to dedicate the processors to different tasks in linux. And it got me thinking... First let me say that I dont know muc...

Re: Self balancing robot

This is great!

I never got the complementary filter to work when I tried balancing the mpu6050 on a servo. I can now see that I was way off with my simple code...
I will now try again.
Thank you!

Re: Reliable pulse output delays after interrupts?

I'm not sure that I understand this correctly. Does it mean that I can not use the pyboard for a fuel injection system that triggers a timer each revolution of the crankshaft and the pulsewidth is for how much fuel to be injected?

Re: Sun Tracker

Thanks!
I wasn't sure about doing a short circuit, thought it might damage the panel.
I have some NiCr wire, to wind my own resistors, making it easy to calibrate them to each panel.(I think)
