Is RF Shield earthed?

Post by vegaskid » Sat Oct 24, 2015 7:19 pm

I'll admit it's been a while since I last did any soldering, being a bit of a breadboard/Arduino addict but was wondering if the RF shield is earthed and therefore connected to the GND pin. The reason I ask is that this is the one pin I was overly generous with the solder when attaching the headers and if the shield isn't grounded, I'm getting a short, despite trying to reverse as much of the damage as possible.

TIA

Many thanks for the response. I took a good look under a strong magnifying glass and I think I'd removed the excess solder so went for it anyway and powered it up...all good and can telnet in. Let the fun begin.

Thanks again.
