There are also different baker tiers based on the amount pledged. Only backers in the "Follower" tier (35 £+) and higher have received the alpha firmware.

Sorry, Damien replied and told me that. I was at the previous tier :-( I built the repo version, and it's working fine, thanks!

Stavros, I'm sorry for this situation. As we announced via Kickstarter update, we took last week off (all due to pre-arranged business travel/vacations). I responded to your mail as soon as I got a chance, but the matter is for such cases, standard Kickstarter message form should be used (login to KS, go to the campaign pledge, click blue "View pledge" button, select "Messages" tab). And the way KS works, only single person has access to administrative interface and database, and that's Damien.

Anyway, we're back in full action now, and I'll ping Damien to make sure your case isn't forgotten.

Hey Paul,
sorry, I wasn't sure where to contact you guys (Damien already got back to me). It turns out that my tier only had v1.0 access, which I mistook for "as soon as the kickstarter ends". I compiled the firmware from the repo (it was only a make away), and it worked fine, thank you. Are you going to update the repo to the latest firmware version and do all development there openly?

Sure, that's what we have been doing since the campaign end (first commit went 3 hours after it). Please see last updates/comments on Kickstarter for more info.
