Specs for JST connector on PyBoard 1.1

Post by ynohtna » Sat Feb 27, 2016 11:27 am

Does anyone know the intimate specifications for a JST socket that'll fit a PyBoard 1.1?

It's obviously a 2 way, right-angle socket but there are so many multiple JST sub-variants (XH, PH, PHR, etc) that my brain starts spinning. I'd rather avoid ordering unwanted mis-sized components, so any pointers would be appreciated.

Anything with a 2.0mm spacing of the pins will fit. It depends on the connector that your particular battery has as to which is the one you need.

I use something like this: http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/e ... -ND/926626

Thank you for pointers, Damien!

I'll get my calipers out and do some detailed datasheet dimension comparisons. :)
