Help! beginner alert!

Post by harambecute101 » Mon Nov 28, 2016 10:08 pm

Hi,
I just got my pyboard today and I am very excited about it.
at least, I was.
the pyboard is a bit drunk, so whenever I reset it, the main.py and boot.py would all get messed up. The code in both of the files get erased, and gets replaced with a bunch of ÿ's. Like, ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ is in my main.py and also in my boot.py
is this normal? I tried a firmware upgrade but that also doesn't work.
Boo hoo hoo

You must forgot to eject/unmount it PYBFLASH disk. Then you need to do Factory reset:
