Is possible to connect many ESP8266 (station mode) to one ESP (AP mode)?

Hi all.

Is possible to connect *simultaneously* many ESP8266 (station mode) to one ESP8266 (ap mode)?

I mean, about 30-50 to ONE. If not, how many is possible?

Thank you.

I mean, will be the ESP8266EX supported too for the uPython?

Of course, first we need to know the differences.

Thanks.

Re: How to connect 100 WiPy (Station mode) to a 1 WiPy (AP mode)?

Hello Daniel. That is terrible for my project. :( Anyway I have three important questions about many-to-one connections: 1. Tell me, what is the advantage of a WiPy running in AP mode if you can to have just one client connected? Because, for one-to-one, the Wifi-direct is fine. 2. Thinking that lim...

How to connect 100 WiPy (Station mode) to a 1 WiPy (AP mode)?

Hi all. How is possible to get more than 8 WiPy clients (station mode) connected at ONE WiPy (AP mode) if the TICC3200 specification say about just 8 simultanous connections? From http://www.ti.com/product/CC3200: -------------------------- TCP/IP Stack Industry-Standard BSD Socket Application Progr...

Re: RE: Re: Is the Advanced Low-Power Modes correct?

Hello, With WiFi active (in Station mode) and the MCU running, the average current is indeed ~14mA . During Rx there are short peaks of 59mA and during Tx peaks of 229mA so the power supply needs to be able to deliver those peak currents. If you want to calculate battery life you can use the 14mA f...
