@rcolistete Have you asked the vendor about lead times? I found him helpful and communicative.
My need for about 20 ESP32 with 4MB PSRAM will be confirmed in the following weeks. Then I'll conctact the vendor. Thanks.

Re: Tiny ESP32 board

Thanks, pity that only 3 are available now, I need about 20. Another option of ESP32 with 4MB PSRAM, not too tiny but the 1.3" OLED + 2 buttons are useful : ESP32-Wrover 4MB PSRAM + 1.3" OLED + 2 buttons + microUSB + microSD Same, on Tindie : https://www.tindie.com/products/lspoplove/wifi-packet-mon...

Re: Drivers for Waveshare 2.13inch E-Ink display

I have Waveshare 1.54" and 2.9" SPI 3 color e-paper displays. So I can test your driver and maybe help modifying them.

By the way, the Waveshare 2.13" SPI 3 b&w and color e-paper displays use the IL3895 controller.

Re: ILI9340/ILI9341 TFT Display

Note to myself: Here is the GitHub repository of M5Stack's MicroPython firmware . However, I am extremely uncomfortable with sending my code or WiFi password to some (Asian?) cloud server. M5Stack have released off-line firmwares : https://github.com/m5stack/M5Cloud/tree/master/firmwares/OFF-LINE B...

How did you achieve this feat? My M5 keeps on rebooting with every attempt to employ the esptool.
I've had the same problem. Solution : change to other USB port of my notebook, do not use "-b 115200".
Both items aren't needed with ESP8266.

Re: Screenshot of LCR160CR ?

It seems PPM image file format is simpler than BMP, easier to code even in MicroPython. For example :
PPM image from scratch in Python 3
nicholasRutherford/ppmFile.py
MANDELBROT FRACTAL IMAGE OUTPUT TO PPM FILE (PYTHON RECIPE)

Re: Screenshot of LCR160CR ?

Good idea to convert RGB565 to bmp. I'll look at OpenMV MicroPython source code to try to get MicroPython code to save in BMP format (in the image module) : http://docs.openmv.io/library/omv.image.html#image.image.save But I guess it is implemented in C/C++ : https://github.com/openmv/openmv/tree/ma...

See

Code: Select all

LCD160CR.screen_dump(buf, x=0, y=0, w=None, h=None)
Note that buf holds pixels in RGB565 format.
Thanks.
So the buffer could be saved to a binary file in RGB565 format.
Then I can copy the RGB565 files to a PC and use a PC tool (imagemagic, ffmpeg, etc) to convert the format to PNG, etc.

Tried compiling and flashing the version1 branch:
MicroPython v1.9.2-34-gd64154c73 on 2017-09-01; micro:bit with nRF51822
Could you post the firmware file (.hex) for MicroPython v1.9.2 on BBC Micro:bit ? It is useful to flash it with uflash.
