If you are compiling from a vstr (paste mode) then you will need to have enough heap available for the entire script. My recollection is that mp_int_t and mp_uint_t need to be types which are large enough to store a pointer. I just caught a link to a company called Zerynth talking about Python on microcontrollers. It looks like they haven't based their work on MicroPython (and they don't make any references to it).

Can anyone comment on how MicroPython compares to what they're doing?
