Re: Ello Wrld

This rc thing got me so bad! Anyway. I bought the trexjr from pololu with this chassis but after "playing" with it for a while I really feel that it is a bit overkill and "inconsistent" with its functions (especially serial control). So today two ultra cheap esc's arrived at my mailbox and I'll see ...

Re: TrexJr control methods

Using the logic-level interface seems like it should work fine. Use the bottom hookup from here: http://www.pololu.com/picture/view/0J346. The green wire will be at 5v, but the Rx pin on the micropython board is 5v tolerant, so that should be fine. The orange wire will be the Tx line from the micro...

TrexJr control methods

Hi. I'm very new to this world of micro controllers, embedded communication protocols and programming. I'm going head first, in deep water (if that's a saying) and started with buying the pyb and some stuff from pololu. One of the items is the TrexJr http://www.pololu.com/docs/0J5/all , this can fro...

Re: Cannot connect to pyboard via serial

I've not yet been able to get all the tutorial working. When I try to connect to the device with the command screen /dev/ttyACM0 I get: [screen is terminating] I expect it's because something is going wrong at Plug & Play time. Could somebody suggest how I might get this working? Jun 19 23:14:19 ha...
