Multiple health warnings - the libraries I used may well have changed, etc. I see it uses my 'WiPyFloat.py...

Re: Getting Started with WiPy

Thanks Gurpal, I'm sure that will help newcomers.

Maybe you could clarify in the blog post that it's WiPy 1.0 you're describing?

Best,

Re: Question on arithmetic calculations

My experiment was using a WiPy 2.0 with build 0.9.0.b2, as updated recently using the 'Pycom Firmware Update' program.

Re: Question on arithmetic calculations

On the WiPy 2.0, machine.freq()[0] / 1000 / 1000 returns 80.00003,
and machine.freq()[0] / 1000000 returns 8.181962e-07 - same problem as reported for the LoPy.

Re: Avoiding decimals when parsing json

Alternatively, you could consider getting a WiPy2, which supports floating point and has somewhat more free memory. :D

@pythoncoder +1 on that

There is a very limited (so far) discussion about WiFi range over at https://forum.pycom.io/topic/53/wifi-range .
