The first web framework to micropython?
I think pfalcon, with his picoweb library, has a legitimate claim on that title... ;)

Still, Miguel is very well known by Flask users and it's great to see him experimenting with MicroPython!

Season of Docs proposal for MicroPython

Hi folks, Google announced their Season of Docs initiative a month ago; it's an effort to help improve Open Source projects' documentation. The concept: An Open Source Organization applies to Season of Docs with a proposal for improvements to their documentation. Google also receives applications fr...

Re: Micro-Python ported to Lego

Childhood me would have done anything to have that EV3 brick running something like MicroPython! Heck, adult me seriously wants one..! ;)

So cool.

I wonder if they'll release the source? They appear to have decent peripheral support too...

Re: Integrating Loboris port back to official uP ESP32 port

I agree, Boris has made a huge contribution! I'm certainly not resisting using the Lobo codebase - I'm not sure anyone is? - but there are reasons that it hasn't been absorbed upstream. Boris was able to develop rapidly because he was able to focus solely on his ESP32 port - he also didn't have to g...

Re: Integrating Loboris port back to official uP ESP32 port

Does anyone have a use-case for the RMT peripheral that isn‘t just driving Neopixels? Yes; a friend wants to use it for comms to his radio transmitter to control his quadcopter. It's a timing sensitive one-wire protocol. The Loboris port also uses RMT to implement DHT and 1-wire protocols. I believ...

Re: PyB-to-PyB using I2C?

I briefly touched on implementing I2C slave on ESP32 (using Boris' implementation as a guide). The implementation should be reasonably straightforward. But 3935 should be resolved first since the API for I2C slave is not well defined...

Re: using multiple pins as PWM pin with D32 pro

Sorry miririe my initial post was terse and misleading. To answer your question, I believe the answer is no, you can't use different PWM frequencies with MicroPython today. You can use different duties however. MicroPython's PWM is built on the Espressif ESP-IDF LED Control . Summarising the system:...
