Re: Put all modules into a single file

I don't know an automated way. I can see two options. Use a text editor to combine the modules into a single Python file. This involves some tweaking, removing redundant import lines and possibly adjusting names of objects. The other option is to leave the project as it is and change the deployment ...

Re: touchPad on Pin 2 (ESP32)

Yes, as I understand it the reference board has an external pull-down resistor on pin2.

Re: Weird SPI behavior in Pyboard D-SF6

The lack of response suggests you are the first to encounter this problem. To get it fixed I suggest you create an easily replicated test case that fails when run against the latest build (V1.15). Then raise an issue on GitHub.

Re: uasyncio.open_connection and ssl

Official uasyncio.open_connection returns a stream based on a nonblocking socket. SSL/TLS support for nonblocking sockets is something of a work-in-progress. In my experience it works on the Pyboard D, but (as far as I know) it doesn't yet on ESP32 or ESP8266. It has priority - see this comment - bu...

Re: MQTT+ ASYNC programming

The mqtt_as module is designed to be resilient in the sense that once a connection is established the code will recover transparently from outages of the WiFi or the broker. However the design does assume that, on initialisation, the connection can be established. If it can't, it will fail in the wa...

Re: uasyncio.open_connection and ssl

This forum is for official MicroPython so I doubt many people here are using pycopy. You'll probably get a better response looking in that project's resources. I'm also unclear whether your firmware version is pycopy. The pycopy libraries can only be expected to work with pycopy firmware. You can't ...

Quaternions

The BNO055 library does indeed offer quaternions and this doc shows how to use them with some Python classes. Despite having a fearsome reputation their use for 3D rotation is remarkably simple.

Re: Request for VS1053 with ESP32

I haven't attempted this. I tested using audio files stored on the SD card.

Display drivers and portable GUI

This now supports ST7789, including the TTGO T-Display . This is a low cost ESP32 with an integrated 135*240 color TFT. In my testing these work well and look to be very well made. The driver can be configured in landscape or portrait mode. Other supported displays are these from Adafruit 1.3 inch a...
