Re: TypeError with server.init

FYI, I was able to get the Telnet and FTP services to use my own userid and password. I used this code in boot.py to do it: # Import Server Class from network import server # Initialize Telnet & FTP services with credentials srvr_obj = server() srvr_obj.init(login=('MyUserID', 'MyPassword'), timeout...

Re: TypeError with server.init

So, the example on the quick reference page is wrong and needs to be corrected I assume? I'm still confused about exactly what is happening with this class and methods. Does creating and initializing a server object with the server class create a new server or does it "connect" to the one that is al...

TypeError with server.init

Hello, I want to change the default userid and password for the ftp and telnet services. I tried (via REPL) this example lifted directly from the Quick Reference page: from network import server # init with new user, password and seconds timeout server = server.init(login=('user', 'password'), timeo...

Re: SyntaxError: decimal numbers not supported

Hello danicampora,

I'm enjoying beginning to play around with my WiPy. You said you were going to try to build with floating point; any results yet?

Thanks,

Re: Real-Time Clock (RTC) drift

That's very interesting and supports the "feeling" that the RTC is not as accurate as it ought to be. I've made very little progress on my measurement mechanism; day job taking precedence.

Re: Real-Time Clock (RTC) drift

Yes, it might still be OK. When I did a manual spot check a couple of weeks ago I was surprised how much it drifted, but more careful measurements will allow us to know just how much it really is. In my spare cycles I'm working on an automated measurement method. If that doesn't work out easily, I'l...

Re: Real-Time Clock (RTC) drift

The crystal used on the pyboard is not as accurate as the data sheet linked below states. That data sheet is for the +/-20PPM crystal TXC sells. But the one specified for the pyboard is +/-50PPM The "B" in the part number corresponds to +/-50PPM as shown here: http://www.txccrystal.com/images/pdf/nu...
