Re: Setting time of day from an external source?

Have you got a link to that raspberry pi code.
Were they using external devices? Like an analogue to digital converter.
In principal if a raspberry pi can do it a microbit in theory should be able to. The only thing is they are a bit slow at executing a loop to collect data

One stop shop for micropython microbit component classes and drivers

I've started a list to become *THE* central resource for microbit micropyhton component support.
Please add your components via GitHub pull requests at https://github.com/rhubarbdog/microbit-component/

Re: why are these numbers random and these a repeated sequence?

Yes i see setting board[32][0] also sets board[0][0]. What's the solution. I want my list to be 32 items twice. I'm making a pairs game I could for _ in range(2): for s in symbols: for c in colours: board.append([0, s, c]) But what's the pythonic way to make the `board` in one itteration and double ...

why are these numbers random and these a repeated sequence?

I have 2 programs. I think they are pretty much identical in their calls to `random.randrange()`. The first produces 2 different lines of random numbers as expected. The second produces a repeated sequence of 32 random numbers. from microbit import * import random def unique(select, total): chosen =...

Re: Scoreboard for micro:bit

it looks easy.
Are you wanting the latching behavior that is demonstrated in the 'new' blocks editor.
Or more likely are you wanting the following

Code: Select all

if pin0 is connected to 3.3v
  increase score by 1
output high on pin2 for 1 second

The buffer is big enough for distances upto 4m. All my problems were lack of voltage, even 4.5v isn't enough.
