Re: Compiling with btree module support

No, I didn't make clean. But even after that I got the same error message.
I'm not sure what you mean by 'which commit'! I just did a git pull which reports 'already up to date'.
And makes for PyBoard 1.1 and Blackpill run flawlessly: "v1.14-152-g6f06dcaee"

Re: Compiling with btree module support

When I run make (for the generic esp32) with the current sources I get the following message: /home/rob/micropython/extmod/modbtree.c:37:10: fatal error: db.h: No such file or directory #include <db.h> ^~~~~~ compilation terminated. I didn't see that before. Could it be related to the btree module (...

Re: I2C to AVR Xmega

Hi Steve,
Your choice of address may be the cause of your problem.
In I2C standards 0x00 - 0x07 and 0x78 - 0x7F are reserved I2C addresses.

result of integer division of a negative integer

Excuse me if this is not the right place to ask...
Today I was surprised by the difference between two calculations, of which I thought would give the same result:

Code: Select all

-(5 // 2) returns -2
-5 // 2 returns -3
I suppose this is correct Python, but I would like to understand why.

Re: Trouble with CMake and flash > 4 MB

@rcolistete:
Thanks! It confirms what was already indicated by bertel.
So I'll have to consider the superfluous 4MB PSRAM for future use, if and whenever it might become supported.

Re: Trouble with CMake and flash > 4 MB

Looks like I'm heading in the wrong direction (w.r.t. to the subject line). As I mentioned earlier: my board has 4 MB flash. So I should not look for a solution with more flash memory. When I load the pre-built GENERIC_SPIRAM firmware from the Micropython site I see (about) 4 MB with esp.flash_size(...

Re: Trouble with CMake and flash > 4 MB

@bertel Thank you very much for your detailed 'instructions'! Unfortunately these seems not to work for me (could be my fault of course). I don't know if it is relevant, but anyway: - My board is a TTGO-T8 V1.7 with 4MB flash(chip 25Q32) and 8 MB PSRAM (chip ESP PSRAM64H) - Commandline 'idf.py --ver...

Re: Trouble with CMake and flash > 4 MB

@bertel: I'm also trying to enable 8MB PSRAM. My current workaround is to replace .../esp32/boards.skdconfig.base with the output of menuconfig, which seems to work, Could you be somewhat more specific about this, please? Which 'output of menuconfig' has to replace .../esp32/boards/skdconfig.base ?

Re: [WEACT_STM32F411CEU6] unable to re-flash firmware

@dyhlands: I'm not able to get it in DFU mode.
The board in its current state doesn't show up as USB device (with a Linux lsusb command). I'm afraid I must conclude that it is dead.
Thanks, Rob.
