Re: Comparison of the three Pyboard D models?

Between the release of the PyBoard D and the OpenMV H7, it's looking up to be a pretty remarkable spring for MicroPython projects. I'll have to decide what I want to do.

Re: Comparison of the three Pyboard D models?

Okay, that's interesting (that the top-level D board actually lacks a feature of the second-level board, so that there is a "decision" to make on such matters, as opposed to each next level simply subsuming the lower levels).

Thanks.

Comparison of the three Pyboard D models?

I see on the store pages basic descriptions of the boards, and by flipping back and forth between the tabs, I can see the differences "jump out" as visually as text differences, but I think there differences should be summarized in side-by-side table form somewhere. Just my two cents. Aside from tha...

Re: OpenMV M7?

If you don't mind my asking, and I really don't mean to come across contrarian, but if OpenMV is essentially "a PyBoard with a faster proc, more RAM, oh and also a camera and a bunch of compiled opencv image processing routines" , then (and I reiterate, I don't mean any disrespect to PyBoard) what i...

Re: OpenMV M7?

Agreed. I had mistakenly assumed the PyBoard was a more powerful "central processor" while the OpenMV boards were sort of "shield-like peripheral camera controllers". OpenMV is a little more complicated than that since it actually has its own suite of shields and includes lots of on-board open-cv im...

Re: OpenMV M7?

I was just asking if they two devices work well together. Maybe one would want to use the PyBoards additional pins, or maybe it's faster or has more RAM (I don't know if either of those speculations is true).

Thanks.

Re: LCD skin availability?

I know. I mentioned it in my previous comment. I'm just curious about the prospects of interfacing the two devices together.

Thanks.

OpenMV M7?

I realize OpenMV has initiated the next gen. H7 camera, but that won't be available for a while, especially for those of us who missed the KickStarter campaign. The M7 has been available for quite a while now and I'm curious if anyone has interfaced it with the PyBoard at all. Surely I'm not the fir...

Re: LCD skin availability?

Thank you. Now if only I could get a camera going. I missed the recent Kickstarter campaign for the H7 and I'm not tempted to buy an M7 if the H7 is about to come out, so I'm left kind of stuck on camera options. I'm of half a mind to try to access one of the numerously available I2C Arduino cameras...

Re: LCD skin availability?

Thank you. Do you know whether the one supported LCD skin is slated for any future reproduction? Like I said, I can't find it anywhere at the moment.
