Re: PYBD WBUS connector

Attached is mashed-together image where I overlaid a pyboard D (both sides semi transparent) onto a 50mil grid to help me better visualise where the WBUS connectors are relative to other things on the board. I couldn't find something similar pre-existing. This is just done by eye, so take it with a ...

Re: Pyboard D-Series and CAN Bus

Just a thought: did you include a line:

Code: Select all

pyb.Pin('EN_3V3').on()
enable the PYBD 3.3V rail for the transceiver to work? I don't see such a line in your code. See discussion here:

Re: PYBD WBUS connector

I couldn't find any information in the docs. I ordered these DF40 series Hirose connectors and they fit my pyboard - 40pin male plug that is on the pyboard: https://www.digikey.com/products/en?keywords=h11624ct - 40pin female socket that is on the WBUS DIP68 breakout: https://www.digikey.com/produc...

Re: Choosing between powering options.

Thank you, all, for the various pieces of advice. Fortunately the board is not going to be streaming anything via wifi. It will be controlled/configured by wifi, but only very occasionally (e.g. to receive updates to parameters, or to file some hourly reports on sensor vales, etc). I expect I can th...

Re: Pyboard D-Series and CAN Bus

About 4 years ago I tried something similar with a non-D-series pyboard. (I wanted to probe the signals being sent to my car's electric windows and locks which had issues.) I am sorry to report that ultimately I failed. As far as I can remember I was neither able to send nor receive anything on the ...

Choosing between powering options.

I am building a pyboard-D based device which will have ample access to mains-derived power which will almost certainly have to be delivered either as: 5V to VUSB, or 3.3V to VIN, or something else if none of those above are thought to be a good idea for my application in the long term. In both cases...

LiPo powering and charging

I have a few pyboards. I am mostly interested in advice relevant to LiPo powering of the PYBLITEv1.0 (since that is the board I have built into a project) however most of the posts on this forum relate to powering either the PYBV1.0 and the PYBV1.1 which were subtly different in their use of the VBA...

Hi, Peter. Did you find one? I'm looking for the same.
