Re: Very peculiar on-off issue with urequests

Have you tried using Wireshark to look at the interactions?
There may be some clues there as to what is happening

Good luck

Re: Old Firmware for Pyboard D

Thanks Jimmo, I updated to the current version, 20190903 (today!) and all the problems went away. I have no explanation as to why why this might have fixed it. The problem was that it had an entry on the arp table that was marked 'incomplete' - I can't reproduce it because the problem has gone. This...

Old Firmware for Pyboard D

Hi All, I'm experiencing problems with ARP entries when using the SF6W board. It appears to have started when I updated the firmware recently. I cannot find previous versions of the firmware (despite looking for the last hour). Can anyone help me with the location of previous firmware so that I can ...

MQTT TLS certificates on PyBoard D

Hello all, Apologies if this has already been asked (I have looked, without success). Reading the Forums, it seems as if the ESP32 port can use certificates for MQTT (not fully implemented?), but it is not clear if the PyBoardD port can do this. If it has been implemented, could anyone point me in t...

Re: simple.umqtt

Hi again,

I returned to the naming issue - the '.' between umqtt and simple represents a file path umqtt/simple, so when I saved the file 'simple.py' into /libs/umqtt/ it all worked!

[but I guess most of you knew that already . . . ] :(

Anyway, great forum, full of helpful people

Re: simple.umqtt

Thanks Robert - very impressive response time! I tried your suggestion using upip, but it gave an error relating to certificates: >>> upip.install("umqtt.simple", "lib") Installing to: lib/ Warning: pypi.org SSL certificate is not validated Error installing 'umqtt.simple': Package not found, package...

simple.umqtt

Hi All, I have an SF6W and an SF2W. The SF2W has umqtt.simple available as an importable module, my SF6W does not. The firmware versions are: SF2W: MicroPython v1.10-418-g8ef236ec5-dirty on 2019-03-26; PYBD_SF2W with STM32F722IEK SF6W: MicroPython v1.10-284-g4417c03a9-dirty on 2019-04-05; PYBD_SF6W ...

This looks good - any chance of the PCB design file?

Re: MicroPython Newsletter Issue 7

Ordered on 22nd March, received one week later - brilliant!

So small . . . I was surprised by just how small and well-engineered it is. I had my doubts about aspirations for this to be included as part of 'industrial systems', but not any more. Well done guys.
