Re: Pyboard control system design

hi, me thinks a 'trinity' of pyboards would be beneficial each mounted within its own primary axis. Three processes, all interrupt driven, working together to achieve all flight-sensor tasks would be optimal. I've thought about the 'Shuttle' system, and its five-way processors and how a 'triboard' a...

Re: Name of our mascot?

Greetings, the name of the mascot must be 'regius'. Regius, yes. Python Regius is the smallest species of pythons found in Africa, sometimes called the 'ball' python or the 'royal' python in the pet trade. She is a true micro python; gentle and powerful. I sometimes think of her as 'small and powerf...

micro python pyboard general review

Greetings, I have had my own pyboard now for just under two weeks. I have put it through most of its paces over the past week, and I must say that I am both impressed and excited; I am sure that the pyboard is going to change the face of micro controller IoT and a host of other things in the very ne...

Re: Python decimal module for pyboard micro python

Thanks guys, for the replies; DIY is ok, and I'm pumped about it (on the back burner), I just thought someone else may have tackled it, and I'm less about reinventing the decimal bignums if I don't have to. Thanks again.

Python decimal module for pyboard micro python

Greetings, I have read the contributor guidelines for micro python, and I think I get it; that is just as a preface for my inquiry. At this point I don't have enough core knowledge to recommend changes of *any* kind to micro python. But I do know that I want to import the C decimal module (C Python ...

Re: Micropython on Raspberry Pi2?

hi, full python2 and python3 come installed on Raspbian for the RPi2... python2 comes installed for yocto linux on the Intel Edison, as well. Other than an educational experiment, I can't see much benefit of running micro python on the RPi2-- unless you were thinking of having a micro python control...

pyboard correct power-down sequence

Greetings, I have a fundamental power question: what is the preferred way to power-down the the pyboard? It seems that its as simple as ejecting the USB drive from the pc, and then just unplugging the pyboard from the usb cable. True? Is there some 'halt' or 'shutdown' command that needs to be execu...

Re: New users post approval

Thank you. I am not a bot, although since becoming a micro-computer prototyper|maker and micro software engineer sometimes I feel like one- ha!
I would like to update my avatar with my standard 80x80 pixel 'me' photo, but I don't see the option to add the bitmit?

Thanks
