TI ADS1231/ADS1232/ADS1234

These are ADC for bridges, mostly used for scales.

Has anyone successfully communicated with one of these?

Apart from this:

I came up empty handed wrt to python.

Thanks

Re: '-' in frozen module path not allowed

Nevermind - my fault. Problem was that /dist-packages is not a module.

'-' in frozen module path not allowed

Hi, I try to freeze some modules. Some of them live in /dist-packages. During the build I get a lot of error messages like: build-GENERIC/frozen_content.c:5764:48: error: expected '=', ',', ';', 'asm' or '__attribute__' before '-' token STATIC const mp_rom_obj_t const_table_data_dist-packages_shutil...

Precedence of .mpy & .py

Hi,

if I have:

/lib/foo.py
/lib/foo.mpy
&
sys.path=['/lib']

Which module has precedence?

What if:

/lib/foo.py
/libmpy/foo.mpy
&
sys.path=['/libmpy','/lib']

What happens here?

Thanks!

Re: Activating BLE

There is no problem with an example. They work very well. It is only my lack of understanding of the details of Python... :roll: I took the temperature example: ... class BLETemperature: def __init__(self, ble, name='mpy-temp'): self._ble = ble self._ble.active(True) ... and didn't notice that you d...

Activating BLE

Hi, I'm probably thick here but why does: from ubluetooth import BLE, UUID, FLAG_NOTIFY, FLAG_READ, FLAG_WRITE ble = BLE ble.active(True) give me a 'TypeError: argument has wrong type'? The firmware is from today. The example code does the very same - just in __init__ and it works so its not some ha...
