Re: [STM32F407xx] - NRF24L01

It's coming up as 'pyboard' as that's the default for the STM32 port. Re: [STM32F407xx] - external power/battery

The Q1 or B1 in the schematics is the RTC battery (bottom right CR1220 lithium cell on the board). It's designed to be a backup 3V power source to maintain the RTC datetime while you unplug / plug the primary power source. Schematics are available on Github. See the links in the readme footer. https...

Update pyb.Switch() to support multiple buttons?

On boards such as the MCUDev Black STM32F407VET6 , there are 2x user buttons. In the board definition I've defined KEY0 as the main switch. Is it worth updating pyb.Switch() to support multiple switches? eg. pyb.Switch() == KEY0 pyb.Switch(1) == KEY0 pyb.Switch(2) == KEY1 Or is pyb.Switch deprecated...

Re: ESP8266EX with 16MB

Yeah, it's been working for a while now. See: https://github.com/micropython/micropython/issues/2335 You need to write esp_init_data_default.bin at offset 0xffc000, then write your firmware at offset 0x00000. This is how I got it working on my Wemos D1 Mini Pro (the older blue one): esptool.py --por...

Re: VCC-GND STM32F407VET6 dev board

You could try requesting it from the seller on AliExpress. Alternatively, try to find the product on Taobao.com. Sometimes they have pan.baidu.com links to zips loaded with useful into, schematics, datasheets, etc, however sometimes only in Chinese, so you need to wash through a Google Translate. Th...

Re: [STM32F407VGT6] Board HELP!

I don't have one of these VGT6 boards. I do have a few VET6 ones. This might be a good starting point for creating your own board def: https://github.com/mcauser/BLACK_F407VE The VE has 512 Kbytes and the VG has 1 Mbyte flash. Other than that, pretty similar. See if you can grab a schematics pdf fro...

No mention of the Pyboard D-series on: http://docs.micropython.org
Anyone working on that?

Re: Recommendation of MCU for industrial device

The ST docs list the pyboard's STM32F405RGT6 temperature range as -40 to 85 deg C. https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/products/microcontrollers-microprocessors/stm32-32-bit-arm-cortex-mcus/stm32-high-performance-mcus/stm32f4-series/stm32f405-415/stm32f405rg.html The 3 new Pyboard D-series, SF2W (S...

Re: [DS-D6] build for cheap DS-D6 nrf52 fitness tracker

I’m guessing because it’s a 128x32, there is a different init command to set the row offset. Most other 128x32s are positioned half way down in the 128x64 buffer.

Can one written in C subclass the Framebuf?
