Re: ESP32 port now uses CMake

The rp2 pull request #6960 has been merged. My pull request #6956 works and is greatly simplified now that its using the rp2 port contributions. If anyone has custom esp32 firmwares can you checkout the branch from my pull request and see if it works for you? Its successfully built the usercexample'...

Re: Tensorflow and about contributing

Thanks @v923. I will circle back later and follow those useful links to allow doing the mfcc transform in micropython using ulab.

Re: ESP32 port now uses CMake

I had some trouble getting the c++ example to build but I just finished pushing my code that supports user modules on esp32 using the rp2 port approach. https://github.com/micropython/micropython/pull/6956 Caveat : I changed how the qstr.i.last file is generated and while it works I have no idea if ...

Re: ESP32 port now uses CMake

I was able to get the approach used by the rp2 to work on esp32 so will adapt my pull request to share the same approach. The base changes will go in on their pull request: https://github.com/micropython/micropython/pull/6960 Then I'll adjust mine(https://github.com/micropython/micropython/pull/6956...

Re: ESP32 port now uses CMake

I went around in circles for a few days on this but finally got something working. I just filed a pull request for it: https://github.com/micropython/micropython/pull/6956 I got it to work with the simple c example but more work is needed to pass through more flags and options. I will try this appro...

Re: ESP32 port now uses CMake

I have a part way solution for getting user modules to compile with esp-idf and cmake. I found out how to create idf components and then how to include this into the build in a similar way to how USER_C_MODULES used to be passed in. In the current system each c module needs to have a GNU Makefile sn...

Re: Run AI application on Pyboard

I'm working on a custom micropython firmware that can run the tensorflow examples and facilitate running completely custom tensorflow lite for microcontroller models. https://github.com/mocleiri/tensorflow-micropython-examples I'm sort of just started on this the firmware can be built and runs the h...

Re: Tensorflow and about contributing

I just wanted to update that I got the hello_world example to work and have moved on to the micro_speech front-end. For this example I needed to figure out how to run the mfcc logic which transforms the wav file data into a spectorgram which is what is processed by tensor flow. I'm integrating with ...

Re: Tensorflow and about contributing

I'm working on a general tensorflow micropython firmware. https://github.com/mocleiri/tensorflow-micropython-examples Tensorflow 2.4 and miketeachman's i2s branch (just a bit after 1.13) There purpose is to create a more generalized python API than what openmv made to the c++ tensorflow lite for mic...
