Re: Analog Pins

Judging by this page, yes you can use a 74hc4051 multiplexer: https://internetofhomethings.com/homethings/?p=530 Cool! I like the purple board (and what it represents)! Nicely assembled. Did you hand solder your board? Price is good too. Odd. I swear I quoted a different reply. It's about the 74HC4...

MicroPython's I2C and SPI support

I am new to ESP8266 and MicroPython but I see potential in both. I wonder how much support exists in I2C devices. I can write my library or code if necessary to drive a particular I2C device so I am interested in knowing how easy to access I2C bus. For SPI I am only looking at SD card for the moment...

Re: Is this ESP8266 module compatible with MicroPython

Re: Is this ESP8266 module compatible with MicroPython

I can't see why it wouldn't be compatible. It looks like a typical "nodemcu" style ESP8266 dev board. Do you have the CP2102 driver installed? Try flashing it with a simple Arduino blink sketch to overwrite the AT firmware. You can't brick these devices, so worst case just erase the flash and start...

Is this ESP8266 module compatible with MicroPython

This is what I bought, thinking it was loaded with NODEMCU firmware but it's loaded with some AT firmware https://www.banggood.com/3Pcs-NodeMcu-Lua-WIFI-Internet-Things-Development-Board-Based-ESP8266-CP2102-Wireless-Module-p-1121409.html?rmmds=myorder Unlike the Wemos D1 board that I got working wi...
