Re: PCA9865 16 servo controller board using I2C.

currently the address that you use for the PCA9865 is _ADDRESS = 0x40 but this address is select-able for the PCA9865. Most servo boards that use this chip will have solder pad that you jump to change the slave address (they work like binary numbers). If you want to use more than 1 board at a time t...

Re: PCA9865 16 servo controller board using I2C.

Thanks a lot for the driver it is a chip that I use a lot on my robots. Your driver is nice and light weight but very functional and easy to use. Is it MIT? Also 1 change that I will make when I use it is add the option to choose the slave address as PCA9865 has a select-able address which I very oc...

Re: Hilitchi joystick controller

There is a number of these analog joysticks on the market. I have tested a few and found the pot on many is very poor. Some are ok in 1 direction poor in other directions and many the nutural position isn't in the middle of the pot range. I hooked then to my scope so that I can see the voltage chang...

Re: MicroPython on ESP32 with SPIRAM support

@laboris Thanks for all your hard work. It is obvious that you have spent many hours in completing this and as a MIT license has made me compelled to make another small donation to support your work and I hope other follow :) The ili9341 screen that I use has a super bright back light (4 LEDs, 1 in ...

Re: RGB and Gesture Sensor - APDS-9960

Thanks gcarver :)

I only want to use it as a distance sensor, it is much smaller than a ultra sonic sensor and it also can read distance in an array of directions :)

Re: RGB and Gesture Sensor - APDS-9960

I have ordered a little break out board for the APDS-9960 and was going to write my own driver then this thread has come up.

What licensing is your code??

Re: SD card problem on ESP-32

Is it possible that the board may have a bad soldering connection or faulty trace that is causing this intermittent problem??

Do you have a microscope that u can inspect the soldering and traces with to ensure everything is good?

Re: MP syntax error

Python is very sensitive about indention as this is the way a block is defined compared to other languages that use brackets. Python is also case sensitive so True and true are seen as different. Most people will use a good IDE to help with the formatting. I haven't yet learned to use any of the IDE...

Re: MicroPython on ESP32 with SPIRAM support

I assume this is a typo in your wiki and it should say XPT2046 ??
Touch panels based on XPT2066 and STMPE610 controllers are supported at the moment.
