Re: Target audience for MicroPython?

I play in both C and Micro-python on micro controllers. I find MP strength is very fast development of code to a working finished product. I find C strength is very fast execution of code.

Re: Introducing the TinyPICO

Looks very good.

You should put a 20 cent piece next to the board for people to reference the size.

Re: STM32F407 FSMC memory

The code will be the same. The only difference in the MCU is the amount of flash it has. I did change 1 pin though for my code to work. Off memory I connected the LCD register select pin to the FSMC address pin A16 so that it would select when I used the following addresses #define LCD_REG (*((volat...

Re: VCC-GND STM32F407VET6 dev board

Here is a STM32F429 with 8MB flash and 16MB of SDRAM with a 40pin LCD connector and a fast USB C connector, SD card slot and a 60pin break out header. The STM32F429 has all the hardware graphics accelerator. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/STM32-Development-Board-STM32F429-Development-Board-Minimum-...

Re: VCC-GND STM32F407VET6 dev board

So, I've purchased one of the STM32f407VET6 dev boards from a company called vcc-gnd with a goal to porting MicroPython to it. I have a pyboard 1.0 with a STM32f405, which is in the same family, so it shouldn't be too hard to port across. http://i.imgur.com/ruEhY81.jpg Does anyone else have one of ...

Re: STM32F407 FSMC memory

I have used the FSMC to drive an external TFT in 16 bit parallel as the screen RAM is just seen as external RAM by the STM32F407VET. Here is the code https://github.com/OutOfTheBots/ili9341_16bit_touch that was part of the development for this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H51OzQl3BC8 I don'...

Re: ST7789 IPS 240x240 SPI display

I do have 1 of these little screens as they are quite cheap yet very high performance. It is just sitting on my desk as I have been super busy with other projects atm. I was going to use it like I have all my other screen by using Lobo port for ESP32 but with just a custom init(). Lobo port has a ve...

Re: TI ADS1219 ADC driver

A noob question here. If it is a 24bit ADC and your Vref is 3.3v then the sensitivity it has to read is 3.3v/(2**24) = 0.00000019669532775878905 volts What sort of hardware would be needed to decouple and isolate the ADC so that such fine voltages are not just inducted from the air?? I have used the...
