Unix make issue

I'm trying to make 1.3.9 unix version. On CentOS-7 64-bit it builds and works fine. Making it on Tiny Core (x86 and arm) I get the following error: CC modtermios.c CC modsocket.c CC modffi.c LINK micropython /bin/sh: libdir: not found build/modffi.o: In function `ffifunc_call': modffi.c:(.text+0x1b0...

Right, including peopla at Google, Ericsson, Microsoft, etc...

it could be a reason to choose micropython instead of a raspberry.

Agree, PIC32 fits better. There will be new chips available soon with even more resources and advanced MIPS core and DSP support.

Re: DSP CMSIS

Numpy would be too heavy and generic for the board. A dedicated M4 optimized DSP lib would be preferred to use power of M4. It would make pyboard ideal for audio signal processing in modems, SDR, etc.

Re: Friendly project - Pycorn

Unfortunately the latest commit is two years old, the latest discussion in issue tracker is one year. Looks a dead project, or at least suspended :(

Porting micropyton to MIPS (PIC32)

Hi

is there a plan to port micropython to Microchip's PIC32 (MIPS)family? They are rapidly pushing out new chips with more and more resources, so it can be a feasable project in terms of available flash and RAM.

Regards... Béla
