Re: MicroPython on ESP-WROVER with 4MB of psRAM

At this time the complete MicroPython heap is allocated on psRAM. Operations from psRAM are slower then from internal RAM, as it is accessed over SPI interface, with cache in internal RAM (32KB if I remember well). So, if we are operating with the data already in the cache, the speed will be the sam...

SD Card support

Are there any plans to add SD Card support for ESP32 MicroPython?
It is available in Pycom's Micropython version, but for some reason I prefer to use the MicroPython build.

Re: Project feasibility and board advice.

For the Angle sensor I've been looking around and this one popped up more than once: ADXL345 any thoughts on using this? There are special angle sensors like NXP Semiconductors KMA200 ( http://www.nxp.com/docs/en/data-sheet/KMA200.pdf ) with resolution better than 0.05 deg. If you need measuring on...

Re: Black STM32F407VET6 + STM32F407ZET6 dev boards

Let me know if anyone finds a real tiny board using STM32F4 in QFN48 package. I can't seem to find one (an the one I designed myself went up in smoke :D ). Not in QFN48, but quite small, only with limited pins exposed http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&LH_BIN=1&_nkw=F4+STM32F405+Flig...

Re: VCC-GND STM32F407VET6 dev board

There are even better boards with STM32F407ZET6 for ~13-17 US$ with optional external SDRAM (1 MByte IS62WV51216BLL, ~2-5 US$) http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&LH_BIN=1&_nkw=STM32F407ZET6&_sop=15 https://www.aliexpress.com/w/wholesale-STM32F407ZET6-development-board.html?spm=2114.01...

Re: EMW3165

You can easily connect EMW3165 to Diiscovery ST-LINK SWD port. Remove CH3 jumpers and connect SWCLK, GND, SWDIO, NRST from CN2 to EMW3165. No need to connect VDD. Update st-link firmware first, than you can read the content of the flash and save it as backup. I've tested it with WiFiMCU board. http:...
