Re: [WeAct STM32F411CEU6] Avoiding “Volume was not properly unmounted” warnings

Typically the MicroPython or CircuitPython device can't do anything to get the Host OS to flush filesystem changes. It's really up to the user on the host OS to "eject" or "safely remove" the device before resetting.

[WeAct STM32F411CEU6] Avoiding “Volume was not properly unmounted” warnings

... Is there a way to mark the flash storage equivalent to the Windows Quick removal policy? This might reduce the warnings a bit. I see that CircuitPython (are we allowed to say that here?) tries to manage indexing under OS X only by creating empty .fseventsd/no_log , .metadata_never_index ...

PybD) are supported by the generic MicroPython interpreter MicroBit can be selected as a specific interpreter Some other devices (ESP8266, ESP32, CircuitPython) are supported with selectable interpreters as well I have the impression that Thonny is the only IDE supporting various hardware platforms ...

Re: MemoryError what limit am I hitting?

I don't know about micropython, but circuitpython has a relatively low line limit of around 250 lines. If (and again I have no idea if it does) micropython has the same problem, then maybe you can try getting rid of the empty lines in between ...

... time digging into this a week or so ago and it's really quite interesting. One thing of note is that it's upstream MicroPython, but with most of CircuitPython's device layer. And then all the Arduino bits as well of course. TBH I had a really hard time figuring out how it all worked but looks ...
