Re: open drain setup with level converter

I would use a single transistor/resistor inverter (e.g. 2N7000) in that case. Easy to set-up, robust.

Re: Raspberry Pico connection problem

To be sure, that the Pico works fine, try using a simple terminal emulator like Putty (Windows) or picocom (Raspi).

Re: PWM on ESP32

Using an external inverter may be more dependable in this case (e.g. 74HC14).

Re: Raspberry Pico connection problem

When you have downloaded the .uf2 file once, there is not need to do that again, unless you want to change tht firmware. What happens if you connect the device without pushing the bootsel button. Then it should be in normal operation mode.

Re: [SOLVED] SPI on the Pico: has anyone made it work?

Both SPI and I2C work with Micropython on RP2.

Re: Error running ver 1.15 on ESP32-S2

I do not have a S2 device yet, but the port is told to have REPL through UART. I'll check when I have a S2 board.

Does the device manager show some unknown devices? In that case re-installing the ch340 device driver could help.

Re: Wemos D1 mini boot.py bricked (ESP8266)

Yup. If it does not turn up as USB device, there is little you can do with software. So it looks like a hardware fault. The Wemos D1 Mini is generally pretty robust. You definitely cannot break it with wrong code. But that does not mean it cannot break. Checking the USB connector on the board is may...
