Re: FOSDEM 2017?

Thanks for pointing this event. I've submitted "Scientific MicroPython for Microcontrollers and IoT" today : Abstract : MicroPython is a FOSS implementation of Python 3 optimised to run on a microcontroller with MHz and tens or hundreds of Kbytes of RAM. Re: New OpenMV board

The firmware files are included with the IDE downloads. There is also a public repository, so you can build your own. Thanks. I've installed OpenMV IDE (on Linux) and the firmware is in "~/openmvide/share/qtcreator/firmware", for "OMV2" (STM32F427) and new "OMV7" (STM32F769) OpenMV boards. And the ...

Re: ESPLORER unable to run a proper main.py file ...

Thanks @dwight.hubbard for the micropython-cloudmanager. I'll use it for sure, it will be very useful to deal with 20-40 MicroPython boards for some projects.

Please create a dedicated topic about micropython-cloudmanager.

Re: ADS1115 16 bit ADC on ESP8266?

1. After trying various gains it appears the max value when reading a channel is 32767 not 65535? ADS1115 has 15 bits in single-ended mode [0-32767]. 16 bits is for differential mode, with signed values [-32768, +32767]. This issue about 15 bits for single-ended mode is a little bit hidden in the d...

Re: ESPLORER unable to run a proper main.py file ...

Thanks @Roberthh for the tip about "/pyboard" virtual folder to see the "/" of ESP8266. I haven't personally tried the esp8266 version of MicroPython myself, so I don't know if rshell works or not. rshell has a boards command to show the connected boards and what their root directory filenames are. ...
