Re: Would a pyboard purchase support the project?
If the pyboard store was selling raspberry pi zero's with micropython already installed, Damien's revenue might increase by a factor of 10, or 100. Why? Because the hurdle to attach hardware would effectively disappear.

Re: hackable consumer electronic products with ESP32 ?!?
not sure whether mikrobus click boards might solve your problem. That ecosystem has a lot of stuff. And it is being extended and expanded all the time. It appears to be quite successful. https://www.mikroe.com/clicker-2-stm32f4 https://www.mouser.com/new/mikroelektronika/mikroelektronikaClick/ https...

Re: Raspberry Pi access to GPIO, I2C, SPI?
openplc project may provide a leveraging point for many things. openplc has the goal to support iec61131-3 languages for automation programming. runs on raspberry pi, but also can run on similar embedded chips like stm32 and esp8266 (I believe). 1. openplc runs on multiple embedded platforms. 2. ope...

Re: Raspberry Pi Port
Has anybody done anything further on this? running micropython on a pi zero would be a great tool. running micropython as a raspbian process on a dedicated core inside the arm cpu would also be a great tool. The openplc project appears to have mastered how to run openplc on a dedicated core. Might i...

Re: MicroPython minimal port on NUCLEO F446ZE
I was wondering how to configure or setup (jumper pins?) the board so that it can be flashed. I have looked on the stm site for information on how to to do that, but it is unclear to me. Maybe a general note on how to set stm32 boards, if such is possible, would be greatly appreciated by many, I am ...

best practice for erasing /flash after updating firmware
Hi, I recently updated the firmware on my pyboard (clone), and then discovered that the /flash was not reset or cleared. I think it would be a good idea to specify in the documentation for reflashing the firmware, to also include a paragraph describing how to re-initialize the /flash memory. I am ru...
