Can the Wipy board be an AP and a Station?

Post by Lucas9595 » Tue Nov 21, 2017 11:40 am

I made a TCP socket so I can send some data from my phone to the internet. Wipy is in AP mode now, but its not gonna go anywhere like that. Surely it can be a station too? Otherwise, what is the point in AP mode?
Could someone please let me know how you set up the board to be an AP and also relay that data to a router?

If you have a router, why don't you connect both the WiPy and your phone to it as stations? The router should enable them to talk to each other. You might have to enable this in the router's config, but usually on home routers devices on the same wifi network are allowed to communicate between each other).
