No jumpers delivered with my board either. No problem for me, but worth mentioning.

Hello danicampora,

Were you able to test WinSCP?
Using WinSCP and FTP, I an not able to completely connect with the following message:
"Error getting name of current remote directory"
"Invalid response to PWD command"

The WinSCP screen shows it connected successfully then after trying to start the session I get the error above. Maybe there is a setting in WinSCP which needs to change, I'll experiment further.

On a better note, I was able to successfully connect with Putty/Telnet.

Is this also happening with the latest build? http://micropython.org/resources/firmwa ... 23a961.zip

Have you limited the number of data connections to 1? Is the FTP mode set to non-secure?

Yes, only Trying to connect with WinSCP, my Telnet connection is closed (if this is what you mean).

Is the FTP mode set to non-secure?

It is set to no encryption (if this is what you mean).

winscp doesn't work, I tried for a while with that too. I ended up having to download Filezilla instead.

I downloaded Filezilla and am still not able to connect. I get the message:

Status: Connecting to 192.168.1.1:21...
Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Could not connect to server

my encryption setting is: "insecure"

any suggestions?

Are you connected to the wipy's wireless network?

Can you ping it?

I can connect with putty/telnet and I am connected via the wireless network.

I do NOT have the wipy connected via USB to the PC which is running putty or Filezilla.

And Yes I can ping it successfully via the command prompt wirelessly.

I've attached a screenshot of the settings that work for me. It took me a little while to get it sorted (started with winscp, same as you).
