[Espruino pico] Info about power/data connection

Hello,
I need to install micropython on the Espruino Pico and I need to use pin B6 and B7 (as here https://www.espruino.com/Pico ) to communicate with a UART device but I need to know if such pins will became a console mirror once only power is fed via usb (only +5V and GND connected). Is this the case ?
