Wondering about the SiPy....will the sigfox radio frequency be fixed based on the shipping address or is it configurable in software? Wondering if I move from US to AU will I be able to bring it with me?

Actually, it looks like that's impossible via the listed ATMEL chip. I can only guess but it looks like they'd have to use a different chip to hit the AU frequency anyway. The ATA8520E is 868MHz and 902MHz but Pycom is saying the SiPy uses 915-928MHz for AU (plus New Zealand and South America). That's going to be a bummer for IOT in general in the coming years. Not sure how up tight AU is around that 915MHz but I also have US LoRa radios at 915MHz. I haven't checked the noise on the sides but I've read that AU is picky about anything going under that 915 lower limit and I would guess that the LoRa's have side lobes that run down below 915 somewhat. Some people from AU say no big deal and they're doing it, and others say you'd better watch out.

Sorry for the late reply. Actually, after prototyping with a few radio chips we have selected the CC1125. The AU and the US version of the SiPy share the same specs (~frequency band, output power), so you'll be able to move from US to AU and still be able to use it by just re-configuring the channel.
