A new calculator brand just appeared and they have Micropython embedded : Numworks

For the moment, it looks minimal but as they share everything from hardware schematics to code, it will be interesting to follow their progress.
The code is here in Github.
The cover and plastic parts here
Hardware, schematics and all resources on their website

I bought one. Not that I need a calculator. But it's a really nice piece of Open Hardware. And I think it's pretty remarkable that there is new calculator on the market, other than the models that are around since 1347.

I received mine yesterday ;)
I also have compiled the simulator and a local firmware and will try to flash it.
Next step is to see if something can be done to have communication through USB
