STM Discovery F3

Has anyone had any success getting Micropython running on a F3 board.
According to the Micropython specs the minimum requirements are 256k ROM and 16k RAM...
The Arm Mpu on this board has 256k ROM and 48k RAM which would seem sufficient.
Before attempting it myself I just want to check if anyone has tried?
