(this may be in the wrong place)

I see that TI are launching the TI-84 Plus CE-T Python Edition — “A thin, modern graphing calculator with a sharp and clear colour screen and a rechargeable battery. This new model also offers Python as a programming language.”

The manual for the Python add-on states:
What is the Python programming experience?
TI-Python is based on CircuitPython, a variant of Python designed to fit in small
microcontrollers. The original CircuitPython implementation has been adapted for use
by TI.
In the Python_5.5.2.0044.8ek application file, there are some strings that refer to invalid micropython decorator, etc.

Nowhere in the documents or in the flash file are there any licence files, required by the MIT library.

Documentation and ROMs are here: https://education.ti.com/en/software/de ... _Python_OS

Just to be clearer, the european TI-84 Plus CE-T Python Edition, as well as the French TI-83 Premium CE Edition Python, have had (circuit)python builtin for some time now, on a SAMD21 coprocessor (main proc being an eZ80 inside their ASIC).
It's the international version, the TI-84 Plus CE Python that's coming out soon and will have the same hardware now :)

A MicroPython on an updated (bigger display) TI-Voyage would be ultra neat!

You hear me, Santa?

Well, the TI-Nspire CX II models have MicroPython running natively too, and their color screen is 330x240 :D

Dunno what Blinka's doing waving that fork around, but shorting PA24 and PA25's gonna do things to any USB connection …
