You're misinterpreting my answer completely, either on purpose or by mistake. If I wanted to say "don't edit my stuff", I'd say so directly, we're no 5 year olds.

What I have proposed is for you to share your opinions regarding the new official FAQ, it's a simple discussion, that requires no more than 2 posts. And I was under the impression that you wanted to have such discussion:

Since you've jumped the gun and created the new FAQ already, I will remove the posts to avoid having outdated info and close the thread. Do let me know if you're planning to maintain the FAQ yourself.

I hope for that. And let's make sure there're no such misunderstanding in the future (with that idea I write this reply). The general idea is that simple things (like the idea whether FAQ should be kept up to date and relevant or not) should require simple straightforward effort.

And that's exactly what I already have done, specifically told (a week ago or so) that actual questions arising from people should be put at the top of the message, and provided 2-3 more such topics. The next step as I see it would be you saying "yes" or "no". Then next questions to discuss (if any, none from my side so far) can be raised.

I don't have another choice. Everything which should be documented should really be documented in the official documentation (and there should be no duplication, as it's waste of time and effort), but there're topics which don't fit there, but being asked, and they must be answered in the FAQ.
