platforma, To elaborate on
http://forum.micropython.org/viewtopic. ... 710#p10671 , as you guessed, when this FAQ was posted, I was a bit skeptical about it and added that "(unofficial)" prefix. Well, now 2 months later, I'd say I was right and this "FAQ" is now accumulation of cruft. But now after the release, there's actual need to have a FAQ. And there're 2 choices a) either this one is tidied up; or b) there will be 2 FAQs, "official" and "unofficial". Let me know if you're interested in choice a), then the process should be discussed. I'd suggest that I were able to edit it, including giving new structure and removing no longer relevant stuff (like build issues of early alpha). In either case, you would still remain the editor of it, and that would be your responsibility

(otherwise, for me it's easier to start from scratch). Thanks.

Other thing to have by the top of FAQ:

The fact that all ESP-12 modules have LED on GPIO2.

Hey Paul,
I agree with redundancy of some topics in it, especially alpha related stuff needs to be removed, I haven't had an awful lot of time to edit it recently. No point having 2 separate posts and I don't want to mislead users either. So if you would like to propose the new structure, relevant topics to add and their priority, I'll be more than happy to maintain it.
I suggest to start a new thread, give it a new structure, reuse what's useful here and add new info. Please PM me your ideas or discuss here! :)

How about a wiki, page, so that anyone can help with it?

We refer anyone to use forum for any issues beyond those covered in the documentation. And the idea is to make it hard to miss FAQ. Any extra link cuts number of people who will follow it (and unless measured exactly in particular case, by large).

As you may imagine, I don't have more time than you. Actually, I don't have time at all, that's the situation I'm in last 3 years, and the situation I plan for future. So, no time for bikeshedding committees, sorry. I have proposed the new structure already: a) any relevant FAQs are added at the top of the page; b) any outdated content is removed. As you still propose to have committee instead of doing it, I'll err on the safe side of assuming that it's your polite way of saying "sorry, don't edit my stuff". So, let there be second, official FAQ. If there's misunderstanding, feel free to migrate questions from your doc to it.
