Early access releases #3 & #4

All ESP8266 boards running MicroPython.
Official boards are the Adafruit Huzzah and Feather boards.
Target audience: MicroPython users with an ESP8266 board.

Thanks for clarifying this Paul. It is certainly more convenient to use webrepl while being connected to the internet. Even though it's not "officially supported", I found it very useable and had no issues with file transfers, apart from the LmacRxBlk:1 bug that was mentioned above. Also congrats on the 1.8 release! Perhaps would be worth opening a new thread, or does that mark the end of alpha thread series? :)

platforma, Thanks! I may imagine the need to open "1.8 release errata" thread soon, but I'll let people to post it up first ;-). But you're right that it's start of the new era: as many issues as possible reported for the early release series were fixed, which didn't, should be documented as known issues. So, let me close this thread.
