help usb port broken

help i literally broke off the usb port on my Micro:Bit :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops:

If the PCB is still intact, you could try to re-solder the USB plug or solder a new one to it. That#s pretty difficult, requiring good fine tools and a microscope/loupe. Otherwise take it as "lesson learned" and get a new board. We all damaged parts in out life, cheap and expensive ones.

He who never made mistakes never made anything ;)

Through sheer clumsiness I did that with an ESP8266 board the other day. It's years since I wrecked a piece of hardware. I looked at the task of fixing it and looked at the bin. The bin won.
