PWM on ESP32D not working

Hi guys, I bought the HiLetgo ESP32 dev kick and received a ESP32D module which seems to be an updated version of the ESP32. https://www.amazon.com/HiLetgo-ESP-WROO ... 901&sr=8-5
I could install micropython on it but for some reason my PWM code isn't working. I have confirmed the code is correct on one of the older ESP32 dev kits I have. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any ideas how to address this?
