micropython on SparkFun ESP32 Thing

Hello,

is it possible to upload + use micropython on SparkFun ESP32 Thing https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13907 ? Or all ESP32-based board work with occasional hiccups (such as incomplete deep sleep mode on first generation WiPy 2.0) related to the components used and board design?

This firmware works well on a ESP32 Thing (and other ESP32 boards). It is different from the pycom port. All ports have their special 'hiccups, including the ESP32 itself and it's IDF. So try if it's good for you, and if things don't work, improve or bypass, don't complain.
