TTGO T8 V1.7 cannot be powered on from a battery?

TTGO T8 V1.7 cannot be powered on from a battery?

Hi,

I recently bought 2 TTGO T8 V1.7 (on the board it's printed: T8_V1.7 20180721) ESP32 boards, but neither can be powered on from a 18650 battery. The battery is fully charged and the measured voltage is 4.3V. I also have an older version of T8 which is V1.1 or V1.3, and this board can be powered on from that battery.

Any one had a similar issue?

Do you have a multimeter? Are you able to verify that the battery voltage is still ~4.3V when connected to the board, and then also check the voltage on the ESP32 side of the LDO regulator.
