WebREPL client for terminal instead of browser?

Is there a REPL client which uses the WebREPL/websockets but works on the terminal instead of in the browser?

Damien George recently added this to the official webrepl client: https://github.com/micropython/webrepl/pull/66 (although it is not yet merged to master).
