My experience trying to get the pyboard to work consistently with the cc3000 was not a happy one, although I haven't tried to revisit that in several months. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with the Atmel ATWINC1500 WiFi Module either in relation to the pyboard or not. In any event, will probably purchase this board from Adafruit https://www.adafruit.com/products/2999 but any thoughts as to whether there should be any issues pairing it with the pyboard would be helpful. Thanks.

Hi,

Did you ever get the ATWINC1500 working with the Pyboard? I've been contemplating a wifi solution for my Pyboard v1.1.

Thanks,
J

Never tried. With the ESP8266 available, that's what I've been using when I need WiFi connectivity. Admittedly not the equivalent of the pyboard but performance has been adequate for my purposes.

Thanks.

Anyone tried the ATWINC1500? I'm wondering if the drivers built into the downloadable firmware (section Suitable for PYBv1.1 boards, with network drivers for CC3000 and WIZ820io included:) may be compatible with the C1500.

I also would like to get a good wifi module working with a PyBoard.

Anyone have this working?
