Could not attach screenshot in my reply for a thread

Hello everyone!!

I was trying to reply for a suggestion that I received for one of my questions.
When I tried attaching a screenshot , I am getting this weird error

I was able to attach a small image in the post above. The maximum attachment size is 320k. What size is your attachment?

As far as I'm concerned this was never cleared up after first being reported. Here is my attempt to attach two images on GitHub:

143K image:

56K image:
Image

I wonder if the problem is that GitHub uses https?
