I had a suggestion that, rather than waiting for me to sort out a post to the Melbourne MicroPython Meetup blog, I should just post whatever material I have available.
So I can share my January MicroPython News Roundup slides. Hopefully there's something of interest to you in there!
We had a fantastic talk by @jimmo about the MicroPython Garbage Collector; no slides but as soon as I can make the video available I'll post in this thread.

The Wemos W600-PICO looked promising as an alternative to esp8266 but it isn't sold on Aliexpress anymore? Can't find it anywhere :/

The W600-PICO by Wemos is listed as "no longer available" but if you browse the same link on mobile the message is the slightly clearer "out of stock". It seems they've been popular!kevinkk525 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2020 8:24 amThe Wemos W600-PICO looked promising as an alternative to esp8266 but it isn't sold on Aliexpress anymore? I bought a couple and can spare one if you're really keen?

I would be keen but shipping costs would outweigh the worth of it, probably best to get it from china Thanks though.

The slides mention the stm32wle5 (LoRa) - does anyone know anything about availability and perhaps first boards? I see that Mouser prices qty 1 at $6.35 and "factory lead time" 10 weeks...
