Reviving utelnetserver

Post by uraich » Sat May 16, 2020 10:25 am

I am trying to make utelnetserver work on my esp32. The code is a mixture of utelnetserver I found on github and which did not work for me and webrepl code from the micropython sources (in the original code a call to uos.dupterm_notify is missing). As you can see from the screen dump I can connect and I can interact with repl through telnet. When I stop the telnet server on the esp32 everything works as expected. However if I cut the connection from the telnet client side, this interruption is not seen in the server and I get a system error when I try to write to repl again. How can I stop dupterm silently when the socket connection is interrupted?
Thanks Uli
